The first residential #strawbalehouse in the City of San Diego just passed its final inspection!
We installed the lath and plaster on this cute little ADU in the College area, and consulted with the general contractor on the bale install.
Designed

Minimalist fireplace in gray lime plaster with irregularly exposed aggregate. When the shapes and lines are so spare, a little bit of texture does a lot. With its emphasis on simplicity and materiality, this fireplace has a bit of a Brutalist vibe.
